'The Last Pencil on Earth.'를 통해, 우린 늘 그런 주변에 마음과 두 눈을 줄 여유가 없는 부지불식(不知不識)의 현상에 대한 불안정한 위치를 자각하며, 현재의 모든 우리 주변의 것에 최대의 사랑을 느끼고 주고 받는 그런 삶을 구가 하길 바라는 마음을 담았다. 그래서 부제로 '있을때 잘 해라- Do it well when it is being.' 했다. 이점은 자연과 문명, 인간의 삼각관계에서 균형의 힘은 ’사랑’인 작품세계를 표현하는 일관성을 가지고 있다. - 작가 노트 중에서

Artist's Note : Through 'The Last Pencil on Earth,’ I hope that we become aware of the unstable position of being unaware, where we cannot afford to give our hearts and eyes to those around us, and live a life where we feel the greatest love for everything around us today. So for this reason, the subtitle is named ‘Do it well when it is being.’ This is in consistency with the idea that love is the balancing power in the love triangle between nature, civilization, and humankind. - Among the writer's notes.
