맨해튼의 이스트 빌리지 12 스트릿을 걷다가 발견한 우산 하나.

화재용 비상탈출 계단에 그것도 거꾸로 매달린 무지개색 우산.

마치, 바람에 날려 우연히 걸친 것으로 보였지만 어쩌면 우연을 가장한 조심스러운 표식은 아니었을까? (동성애에 찬성 혹은 그 반대의)

내가 너무 생각이 많은걸까?

여하튼 뉴욕의 이번 주는 동성애 자긍심이 넘치는 주이다.

The Rainbow Umbrella

On 12th Street in Manhattan's East Village I discovered an umbrella.

The Rainbow umbrella was open and hanging upside down on the buildings fire escape.

It seemed as if the umbrella had accidentally become stuck by the wind, or maybe it was a carefully placed silent marker. (either positive or possibly negative).

Maybe I think about things too much.

By the way, it is Gay Pride Week in New York.
